Bobcats Build Momentum as the Season Closes in

SAN MARCOS, TX--In anticipation of the upcoming season, the Texas State Men's Lacrosse team cut their holiday break short this year to begin Spring practices early. 

In the past two weeks, practices have taken on a new level of intensity, as the bobcats welcome new assistant coach Michael McGehee.  Mike is back to help out after a successful 4-year playing career at Texas State. In addition to working with the midfield, he has been implementing new strength and conditioning workouts to help prepare the Bobcats for a season that will test their endurance.

The Bobcats open their schedule with LSA south divisional opponent LSU, on February 7th in Baton Rouge.  It will be the first competition in a twelve game schedule that will lead to the LSA playoffs, where the Bobcats hope to advance to the conference championship game.
